Here are three live instrumental tracks that were extracted from a spontaneous-improv jam at a rehearsal space in Williamsburg Brooklyn, recorded with a handheld audio recorder. The style is quite different from the usual arrangement of vocal-based rock-jazz-hip-hop-funk tunes. This instrumental meditative jam combines funk with fat electronic trance. There are three parts, about five minutes each, sharing the familiar universal pattern of rise up, peak on, wind down. 

Any donations are dearly appreciated, as they will go directly towards the cost of mixing, mastering and printing The Flowdown upcoming debut album, to be released officially on February 26, 2011 at Spike Hill.

On a totally different note, a friend mentioned a bit of wisdom from the Dali Lama yesterday... anyone who makes you uncomfortable or angry is actually a teacher to you.  See this person teaching you how to deal with an aspect of reality that you aren't comfortable with or can't accept; see how you can act or behave in relationship to it in a better way...
